
William F. Resh, M.D. was raised in Ashland, Kentucky. He was salutatorian of his high school class. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Los Angeles. He received his Medical Degree from St. Louis University in Missouri. Dr. Resh completed an internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles before completing his dermatology residency at the University of California at San Diego. He was a research fellow at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla during which he helped develop the topical use of clindamycin for acne. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the San Diego Dermatology Society, the California Medical Society, and the San Diego County Medical Society. He has been in the private practice of dermatology in National City and El Cajon since 1975. He is proud to have his daughter join him in his practice.

Brooke Resh Sateesh, M.D. was born and raised in San Diego where she graduated from Francis Parker High School. She then received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude, and her medical degree from the University of California at San Diego School of Medicine. During this time, Dr. Resh Sateesh helped manage the UCSD Free Clinic at Baker Elementary School and the UCSD Dermatology Free Clinic. Dr. Resh Sateesh completed an internship at Penn-Presbyterian Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania Health Care Systems. She completed her dermatology residency at the University of Maryland. She is a board certified dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology and San Diego Dermatological Society. Dr. Resh Sateesh has a long history of volunteer work around San Diego and hopes to continue serving the under-served. She has a special interest in surgical dermatology and pediatric dermatology. She is conversant in Spanish.

Nick Celano, M.D. grew up in San Diego and graduated from University City High School. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Celano then earned a Master’s of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. Following that he received his Medical Degree from Drexel University College of Medicine where he was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He did his internship in Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center followed by a residency in Dermatology at Los Angeles County+University of Southern California Medical Center where he was Chief Resident. He returned to San Diego to complete a Fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Dermatology at University of California, San Diego, Rady Childrens’ Hospital. He is a board certified Dermatologist and Pediatric Dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology, California Society of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, and the Pacific Dermatologic Association. As a trained Pediatric Dermatologist, Dr. Celano is an expert in children’s diseases of the skin in addition to adult dermatology and dermatological surgery for all ages. His interests outside of medicine include surfing and his two young children. He is conversant in Spanish.

Jennifer Yeh Chiang, M.D. was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical School. She completed her internship at NorthShore University HealthSystem in Evanston, Illinois, and her residency in Dermatology at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center in California. She practiced in Pasadena, California with DaVita Healthcare Partners Medical Group before joining San Diego Family Dermatology Dr. Yeh Chiang is a board certified dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She graduated in the top two percent of her medical school class while serving as president of the Asian-Pacific American Medical Students Association. Dr. Yeh Chiang became a physician so that she could help others in a meaningful way. Her drive and dedication to give back to the community keeps her providing the most advanced healthcare for her patients with individualized treatment options. When away from the office, you will find Dr. Yeh Chiang on the mountains snowboarding or hiking, watching sports, or playing the violin and piano. In addition to English, Dr. Yeh Chiang speaks fluent Mandarin and conversational Spanish.

Dr. Nathan Uebelhoer, a Board Certified Mohs Micrographic Surgeon, began practicing dermatologic and laser surgery 20 years ago. As an expert in his field, he has since lectured across the United States and throughout the world, authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on the subject, and won awards for his teaching and military service. He grew up in Massachusetts and after completing medical school at the University of New England, he went to the Naval Medical Center in San Diego for internship and dermatology residency. Following Board Certification by the American Board of Dermatology, he obtained sub-specialty training in skin-cancer surgery and facial cutaneous reconstruction through a one-year fellowship in Cosmetic and Laser Surgery at SkinCare Physicians of Chestnut Hill in Boston, Massachusetts. Since then, he has served as the division head of Mohs and Laser Surgery with the Navy in San Diego until retiring as a Commander in 2013 Dr. Uebelhoer was also trained as a Naval Flight surgeon and private pilot and proudly served in this capacity deployed with the U.S. Marine Corps. In addition to Procedural Dermatology, he has been heavily involved in rural and tropical medicine, and he continues to lecture throughout the world on his pioneering work with scar rehabilitation in wounded warriors. When not in the operating room, Nathan is with his family and occasionally takes the time to play golf and the piano.

Aislyn Nelson, M.D., Ph.D. was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Art in Neuroscience. Dr. Nelson was named a McNair scholar and earned her Medical Degree and Ph. D. from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She then completed her internship and Dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Nelson is passionate about public outreach, sports and dermatology, and enjoys volunteering at community skin cancer skin checks. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the San Diego Dermatological Society. Dr. Nelson has a special interest in medical, cosmetic and procedural dermatology. Her interests outside of dermatology are leading her daughter’s girl scout troop, antique shopping and enjoying all that San Diego has to offer.

Dr. Jacqueline Brogan is a board-certified Dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California and has relocated to San Diego where most of her family now resides. She graduated cum laude from the University of California Los Angeles and went on to complete medical school and residency at the University of Texas in San Antonio. She graduated number one in her medical school class and scored among the top 1% of dermatology residents during her training examinations. She is an active member of both the American Academy of Dermatology and the San Diego Dermatologic Society. Dr. Brogan is caring, compassionate, and dedicated to providing the best treatment for her patients. Outside of work she enjoys any outdoor activities including paddle boarding, hiking, spending time with her husband and walking their Cavalier puppies at the dog beach.

Dr. Abby Tyagi is a Board Certified Dermatologist who is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail conditions. Dr. Tyagi is a San Diego native who is proud to be using her education and specialty training to serve her home community. When she was in high school, she was accepted into a joint Baccalaureate/Medical Doctorate program at the University Southern California where she would go on to earn her medical doctorate. She then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center, and subsequently completed her specialty training in Dermatology at the University of California Irvine. Since returning to San Diego, Dr. Tyagi enjoys being able to spend more time with her family.

Justin Gordon, M.D. was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He received both his Bachelor of Arts and Medical Degree from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honors Society. He did his internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC, followed by a residency in Dermatology at Stanford University where he was Chief Resident. Following residency, and prior to joining San Diego Family Dermatology, Dr. Gordon was a faculty member at Stanford University where he was an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology. He was actively involved in dermatology education while at Stanford, serving as Associate Program Director for the Stanford Dermatology Residency Program where he delivered lectures to Stanford Dermatology residents and Stanford Medical School students. During his time at Stanford, Dr. Gordon also directed the LGBTQ+ Dermatology clinic. He continues to work as a strong advocate for all patients. Dr. Gordon is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and member of the American Academy of Dermatology. He practices all aspects of general dermatology. Outside of work, Dr. Gordon enjoys quality time with family and friends, traveling to new places, experimenting with food, and spending time outdoors hiking and skiing.

Jose Angel Gonzalez, M.D. is a San Diego native who is excited to return home to serve his local community after many years away. He received his Bachelor of Science degree at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD, his Medical Degree from Brown University in Providence, RI and completed his dermatology residency in New York City at Hofstra University School of Medicine. Dr. Gonzalez has an extensive track record of providing care to underserved populations and communities which he continues to do. Outside of work Dr. Gonzalez likes exploring all Southern California has to offer, spending time with his large extended family, playing board games, and supporting the San Diego Padres baseball team. Dr. Gonzalez is fluent in Spanish.
