Dr. Caitlin Penny is a board-certified dermatologist with comprehensive training in general, surgical, pediatric, and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients and delivering the highest quality of compassionate care tailored to each person’s individual goals. Dr. Penny graduated magna cum laude from Duke University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology with honors and a minor in global health. She then attended Duke University School of Medicine on a Dean’s Merit Scholarship, where she earned her MD. She completed her internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego, followed by dermatology residency at the University of California San Diego where she was selected to serve as chief resident. Outside of dermatology, her interests include painting, exercising, exploring restaurants, and spending time outdoors.
